I was so lucky to get some amazing Christmas gifts this year, lots of which were beauty related, I thought I’d share them in a little post as I know most people like to read them and have a nosey. I know not everyone likes these kinds of posts but I do and I’ve read quite a few other bloggers ones.
I had three mini Christmas’s from Christmas Day through to New Year; one with my other half, one with my other half’s family and then one with my parents so I wanted to wait till after New Year to post this.
This year different to other years I actually wrote a list of things I’d like as ideas for my family. Usually I just ask for money but it was really nice to have gifts to open this year.

I got the Enrapture Jumbo Waver from my other half. I already have the Totem Styler and I love it so much, I wanted to try another one of their tools. I fancied something to create soft waves as my hair is naturally very wavy but only underneath, this lets me wave the top too.
I had it straight out the box and waved my hair on Christmas day

My hairdryer has been slowly dying over the last few months and has lost its power so I needed a new one. After some recommendations on Twitter I picked this Remmington Silk Dryer and my mum and dad got it for me whilst it was half price at Boots. I’ve again used it already and although quite a bit heavier than my previous one it dries my hair super fast!
I also got this Wella Professional Hair oil. They used it on my hair when I had it done at Colour Nation (see my Colour Nation post here) and it smells amazing and made my hair so soft, so I popped it on my Christmas list and my folks got it for me. I can’t wait to use it, it smells like vanilla, its lush.

My brother and his wife got me this cute pop up Fashionista palette. Its so cool, it has a pop up scene and a selection of eye shadows and lip colours too.  They also got me the Michael Kors fragrance set too which is gorgeous and a wonderful unexpected surprise.
I also received the beautiful Bejeweled by Vera Wang set. I had asked for Bejeweled as I wore Vera Wang Princess for my wedding and had saved the rest of the bottle for special occasions. I wanted another of her fragrances to wear more everyday. Its really sweet with vanilla tones, totally my kind of scent and my parents got me the gift set which was lovely – such a pretty box.

Some wonderfully quirky gifts I got included this pretty floral handkerchief from my Grandma presented on this paper doll. I love it, its so clever and unique. I also got this ice-cream sundae made with a yellow face cloth inside from my mum. I was actually with her when she found these and thought they were so brilliant. She bought my sister one too!

Me and my other half did little stockings for each other this year and in mine were two lovely Collection nail polishes. A Metallic red and a purple glitter from the Bedazzled range. I love nail polish. I must own over 100 different colours. A few other smaller bits I got were a cracker filled with Spiced Cranberry mini body butter and lip butter and some cute dissolving bath bombs shaped like crackers from my folks and my sis.
I love Christmas themed beauty gifts – especially cracker shaped things.

My big sis got me this fantastic Benefit kit with so many items in. I had asked only for the Its Potent Eye cream as I tried a sample of it around my wedding and was so impressed.  But this kit has the eye cream, the face cream, cleanser, toner, face wash and a little clear bag to keep it all in! I was soooooo pleased. Cant wait to use it all. I’ve started using the face cream already and my skin feels so soft.

Lastly I got the stunning Ted Baker case from my other half. Its so beautiful in the flesh, an amazing design all over and some lovely smellies inside too. This is probably my favourite gift I received, apart from my voucher for a trip to Harry Potter Studio Tour which he got me too!!!! I can’t wait.
*
I of course got lots of choccies and quite a few pairs of socks, plus some really pretty jewellery and a Teach Yourself to Knit Kit which means you can knit your own stripey wrist warmers. Such a clever idea. Plus I got a snuggly jumper with a big snowflake design on from one of my best friends and wore it over Christmas so much (in fact I have it on right now!!!)

Sadly the tree is coming down this weekend and all the lovely fairy lights. The house always feels really empty once you’ve done it doesn’t it? I also must perform the boring task of trying to find a place for all of these gifts somewhere, in what is already a very packed bedroom and bathroom! So far everything is still around the tree but it cant stay there forever.
Please leave me the link to your Pressie post I’d love to read it.
