Contrast Biker Jacket – Peacocks*
Fluffy Jumper – H&M
Necklace – Astrid & Miyu *
Jeans – Levi Curves
Rucksack – Peacocks *On Saturday I headed to London for an appointment at Colour Nation salon off Oxford Street thanks to winning a competition on Scarlett London’s blog. The prize was a half head of highlights and cut and finish.
I was so excited as although I’m happy with my all over colour now, which after some trauma’s is a nice warm mid brown, I was eager to give my hair a bit of an edge or something different to liven it up.

After a consultation with Grant he suggested some large splices of colour underneath which would be low effort to maintain and would show through in different ways depending upon how I wear my hair. He chose a light caramel colour and first lightened the sections before applying the colour. He also applied a lovely gloss all over to give my hair a lovely sheen. Cut wise he got rid of some much needed weight and shaped up the front and then gave me a soft waved blow dry. He used the new Wella oil range – which smelled divine, very sweet and vanilla like. My hair looked shiny and felt so lovely.

I was really looked after with fresh coffee and the loveliest massage chairs as you have your hair washed.
I was seriously impressed with the salon and would highly recommend. They are specialists in colour so if you were thinking of something new this is definitely the place to go and they have lots of offers on their website.

Sadly the weather was not on my side and was extremely windy and rainy as soon as I left the salon, so the photos don’t quite do the hair justice, but you’ll see it in lots more posts to come. I’m so happy with it and definitely plan to keep the light sections.
I wore my new favorite jacket which was sent to me by the lovely Peacocks and I have literally not had off. Its so comfy and I love the contrast PU. I also had my new fluffy jumper on (which I now own in black and white) and the most prettiest necklace from Astrid and Miyu who are an amazing jewellery store who I’ll be featuring later in the week. This is their rope necklace and is such amazing quality and so sparkly. I wore it Saturday and Sunday as it dresses up everything you wear!

What do you think of my new do?? Do you fancy a hair makeover??
