Fringe Festival fashion – Street Style

So as I said my wardrobe this week at the Edinburgh Festival is incredibly limited to black, black and more black, so I thought I’d share with you some of the other Festival Fashion I have spotted over the past couple of days and some High Street suggestions to recreate the looks.
I love this look. Its simple and cool. Nice deep cinnamon colour chinos or jeans and the classic black bomber, its a classic for a reason.
Try these warm brown chinos from H&M £24.99 and this great Black Bomber jacket from river Island £65

This is the lovely Rachel (who was the only person I actually stopped and asked for a picture – check out her blog here)
This is a very cool and very chic look. The classic quilted jacket and a beautiful Mulberry handbag. I also really love her friends Aztec print shorts which I suspect are the sold out Topshop ones.
To recreate the look try this New Look quilted jacket £69.99 and for those of us that cant afford a wonderful piece of Mulberry luggage try this River Island tan tassle bag for £40
And of course as those gorgeous Topshop shorts are now sold out try their Floral print ones instead for £32 which can be mixed up with woolies and tights when the weather gets chilly!

All 3 of these girls look very cool but I especially like the rust palazzo and scarf ensemble.
Try these gorgeous River island red palazzo pants £35 and mix with this print scarf from H&M in the sale now at £3.99.
And if you prefer the floral palazzo  look then try these great priced Peacocks ones £18
This couple are so cute and I love that they are both working the laid back denim look. This look is so easy – leggings, pumps and a great denim shirt worn open and that’s it!
This River Island one is the best I’ve found great colour and cut and £25.
Hope you enjoyed my run down of Edinburgh Fringe fashion. My run down of Edinburgh Vintage shops is to come later in the week.

I truly feel comparing white and black photography with it’s film equal is like assessing apples with grapefruits. They only usually are not exactly the same thing in look and feel. I reviewed this in detail in part 1 of the sequence. click here to find out more When talking to wedding photographer Hellen Vehicle Meene she describe movie as getting “magic”. Now I’m unclear exactly what the techical word for secret is but wonderfully I realize precisely what Hellen means.
